Twenty-two students, grades ten to twelve, and their teacher / advisor comprise the staff of BITTERSWEET. It is their desire to convey the spirit of their home, the Ozarks, to you. This spirit is captured by researching, recording, experiencing. It is brought alive through writing and re-writing. It is put in magazine form by laying out each page individually. In short, conveying this spirit is not an easy task. But the staff has made a valiant effort, and they are certain you will enjoy the finished product, which you hold in your hands.
BITTERSWEET is published quarterly by a special class at Lebanon High School, 416 N. Adams Street, Lebanon, Missouri, 65536. Circulation is by subscription and newsstand. Subscriptions are $6.00 a year, single copies $2.00. All unsolicited manuscripts must be accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope. We welcome letters and assume we may use them in our magazine. No portion of this publication may be reproduced in any form, except for brief excerpts for review purposes, without the consent of the editors. Second class postage paid at Lebanon, Missouri, 65536.
