"Black Families of the Ozarks" was compiled by the Greene County Archives and Record Center with help from county clerks, archives and volunteers throughout the Ozarks and some in other states. Print copies are available to view at the Springfield-Greene County Library. The collection was converted to electronic format with help from several individuals and programs at Missouri State University. Dr. Elizabeth Sobel, Assistant Professor of Anthropology, initiated and oversaw the MSU digitization effort. Nathan Neuschwander and Joshua Lambert of Missouri State University’s Meyer Library also carried out essential tasks. |
