The Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah is the largest genealogy library in the world. Many of the books are microfilmed and can be borrowed at a local Family History Center. Search the library catalog to determine what is available for a particular place or surname.

Google Books includes millions of digitized books and magazines from archives and libraries worldwide. Newer copyrighted books typically allow previews only, but many older titles are available in full text.
