Don't Have Time to Attend a Genealogy Conference?

It seems as though there are always new skills which need to be learned as our pedigrees grow.  Whether you need to brush up on your record translating skills or need information on military records, free classes are available.

While attending genealogical conferences should be a genealogists first choice, costs and time constraints sometimes interfere with the desire to improve our genealogical expertise. The courses listed below take from eight minutes to just under an hour, can be viewed over and over, and best of all are completely free.

FamilySearch.org  currently includes links to over 70 courses in ten categories. Most of the United States research series is presented by staff of the Midwest Genealogy Center and the foreign research courses are taught by experts in their respective fields.

Your local Springfield-Greene County Library includes materials and staff to assist you in your genealogy research.
